Sunday NFL analysis: Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts host Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens in an AFC clash from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

After an 0-2 start, the Indianapolis Colts have together 2 impressive wins in a row. The Colts have scored over 40 points in both of their wins, with Andrew Luck passing for 763 yards in the two contests. Luck has also been extremely accurate, with a 75% completion percentage. Reggie Wayne looks to be in mid-season form, with 23 receptions and 1 touchdown. With Wayne, TY Hilton, and Hakeem Nicks, Luck has many weapons at his disposal. Trent Richardson leads the team in rushing, yet Ahmad Bradshaw has been the main threat. Bradshaw is averaging 5.4 yards per carry, and is also a factor in the passing game, with 14 receptions for 134 yards and 4 touchdowns.

The Baltimore Ravens have seemed to move on from the whole Ray Rice debacle. Since losing their season opener against Cincinnati, the Ravens have been somewhat flying under the radar. With all of the attention on owner Steve Bisciotti and commissioner Roger Goodell, the Ravens have quietly won 3 straight, and have been somewhat impressive in doing so. Baltimore is coming off a 38-10 dismantling of Carolina, a win that saw wide receiver Steve Smith get a little payback against the team that released him in the offseason. The acquisition of Smith has really made the Ravens offense formidable, creating a very talented wide receiver duo with Torrey Smith. Tight end Dennis Pitta was lost for the season with a hip injury, yet the Ravens signed veteran Owen Daniels in the offseason. The defense is still getting the job done, ranking 16th in the league in total defense, and are tied for 2nd in the league in scoring defense, allowing just 15 points per game.

I’m grabbing the points with the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. I like the way Indianapolis is playing but the competition the last two weeks certainly might be the reason for those numbers to be skewed. Baltimore is really clicking right now, and Joe Flacco has definitely found a nice rapport with Steve Smith. I really thought the loss of Dennis Pitta would hurt the offense, but the Ravens haven’t missed a beat. Baltimore already has a strong run defense, and making the Colts one dimensional and pressuring Andrew Luck could be the key in this game. I really don’t see the Colts defense giving the Ravens offense much of a problem either. Some feel that this might be a letdown spot for Baltimore after the big win over Carolina and I disagree. The Ravens have really bonded together since the whole Ray Rice incident, and I think they continue their winning ways on Sunday.
